Driver must be a minimum of 21 years of age at the time of the rental for car Categories Α2, Β, and C. For all other car Categories minimum driver’s age is 25 years. Drivers with age more than 75 years old have to purchase "Senior Citizen's Insurance" (Currently costs 20 € ,for the whole period of the rental)

A valid driving license held for at least one year is required. Driving licenses issued in any country-member of the European Union are acceptable. Driving licenses issued in countries not members of the European Union have to be accompanied by a valid International Driver’s Permit (IDP).

All reservations are made by category and not by specific model. Seven and KefaloniaCarRentals.com reserve the right in case of no availability to upgrade the customer

Police tickets are responsibility of the renter

Renter should bring back the vehicle with the same amount of fuel when picked up. If the car is dropped off with less fuel the client will be charged with the difference along with 10 Euros refill service.No refund will be given for returning the car with more fuel that it was picked up.

In case of accident the renter should inform the company and the police and provide us with a copy of the police report.

A credit card is required for all reservations as a guarantee.

The renters are not allowed to transfer the cars outside the Kefalonia's island boarders without the written permission of our office.

We accept payments either in cash (€) or by credit card(Visa or Mastercard) or bank transfers. Debit cards are only acceptable when transactions take place in our offices or after an in advance request.The estimated total cost of the car hire is payable at the beginning of the rental.

Minimum rental is 1 day. The 25th hour is free of charge. An extra day will be charge from the 26th hour. All car rentals during the high season will depend upon the availability. All the car rentals should be sent at least 7 days prior to the arrival otherwise they will be a subject to availability.

Extra charge of 15 Euros+VAT

First additional driver is offered free of charge. Extra driver is extra charged at 3 Euros per day with maximum 30 Euros per rental.

An advance written authorization from our company, is required.

Babe seats A fee of 3,00 euros per day for a babe seat up to a three years old and a 2,00 euros for booster seats for the kids older that three years old. Infant seats are free of charge. GPS is available on request at a charge of 5 euros + VAT 24% per day.

Insurance For the renting prices, basic and full (no excess - CDW) insurance is included Basic insurance Full insurance with exception CDW (insurance that in the case of accident that you are responsible, the only amount you have to cover is the excess). Includes fire, PAI (all margins include insurance for personal accident, that pays the customer in case of wounding), theft, insurance for third parties CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), no excess, with full cover The renter is fully covered from any responsibility of the car with the condition that he did not break the Traffic Regulation road code or didn't show negligence (unlocked car or keys on the vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, if the vehicle is driven by unauthorized persons or outside of the road). The above stand under the condition, that there was no violation of the Traffic Regulation. No insurance covers damages on the tires, damages on the under part and the inside of the vehicle and thief of personal belongings. Full insurance (with no exemptions) is provided upon request for rentals of more than 6 days. Third Party Insurance (TI) Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of EUR 750.000,00 for death and injury per victim and material damages to third parties up to 750.000 €. per accident. Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's licence at the time of the event giving rise to claim. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Collision Damage Waiver removes the driver's responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of damage or theft, provided that traffic laws where not contravened. If CDW is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of the car. If CDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: 480,00 euro + VAT for A and B group, 550,00 euro + VAT for the C and E category, 550.00 euro+ VAT for group H1 and 1000,00 euro + VAT for the F category. Full Damage Waver (FDW) If the customer wants to be excluded also from the above amounts then he will have to pay 12 € per day for the A & B category, 17 € per day for C, E and H1 category and 29 € for the F category. This amounts are payable locally. Even if the driver choose the (FDW) as insurance cover they are always responsible for the loss or damage of the car key, damages to tires, car parts underneath the vehicle and the cabin. Important note: None of the insurance cover damages caused by infringement of the traffic law, as well as the loss or damage of the car key *, damages to tires, car parts underneath the vehicle and the cabin. * Note: In case of loss or damage of car key during the rental the driver is liable for following charges: a) 60.00 euro +VAT for car group A1. b) 100.00 euro + VAT B, C,H1 and E category and c) 200 euro + VAT for F category.

The First Additional Driver is Free of Charge. Second additional driver is charged 3€/day
